Evan Larson a Faribault High School Senior was recently chosen as the January 29 Wells Fargo Most Valuable Teammate for his contributions to the Falcon Boys Basketball team.

We reached out to Evan's coach, Eric Hildebrandt, for some comments about Evan. Here is what Coach Hildebrandt had to say about Evan.

"Evan really embodies what the Most Valuable Teammate Award is all about.  He leads by example with his work ethic and positive attitude.  Evan is a humble competitor who always wants the best for his teammates.  He is committed to his teammates and is very unselfish.  Evan makes our program better on and off the court, and he is a tremendous role model for our younger players.  I am proud to be his coach, and Faribault Boys Basketball is lucky to have him!" - Faribault Varsity Boys Head Basketball Coach Eric Hildebrandt

Faribault Athletic Director Keith Badger tweeted his congratulations to Evan as well. AD Badger stated: "Congratulations, Evan! We love having you at FHS and as a member of our athletic department. Thanks for making @FaribaultHS and our basketball program great places to be!"

The award is given out on a weekly basis throughout the prep season.
