Faribault Winterfest Parade Grand Marshal Gordy Kosfeld

I was pleased to hear that KDHL's News and Sports Director Gordy Kosfeld was named the Grand Marshal of Faribault's Winterfest Parade Saturday evening! I have worked with Gordy here at KDHL for 24 years. I do not know anyone that travels around Minnesota more than Gordy who does a better job representing the Faribault Community.

I think everyone enjoys listening to Gordy broadcast a sporting event. It is really nice to see how hard Gordy works at getting the High School athletes on the air with interviews at the event or on the Coaches Shows Saturday mornings. Sometimes you can sense they are very nervous but Gordy helps them along and makes then comfortable until they get more experience with public speaking!

In the picture Gordy is at the Rice County Fair just before emceeing the Rice County Fair Ambassador Program. Salute to the Faribault Winterfest Parade committee for honoring Gordy as the Grand Marshal!
