Barron, WI (KROC-AM News) - A former longtime Rochester high school tennis coach has entered into a plea agreement in a Wisconsin criminal case involving child sex crimes.

Court records indicate 59-year-old Kevin Rust entered guilty pleas yesterday to second-degree attempted sexual assault of a child and a felony count of child enticement involving sexual contact. In exchange, a third felony charge of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime was dropped. He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 7th.

According to the criminal complaint in the case, was arrested in Rice Lake, Wisconsin in June after responding to an online ad posted by a police officer pretending to be a 15-year-old girl.

Rust, who now lives in Minnetonka, coached girls and boys tennis at Lourdes High School from 1982-2009. His teams and players won numerous state championships.
