Did you know that today, March 14, is Pi Day? No, not Pie Day, you missed that already because we celebrated that day on January 23. This is the day celebrated by mathematicians and anyone just looking for a reason to celebrate that mathematical constant π (pi) or 3.14, which are the first three digits representing the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter commonly written/rounded off as 3.14159 because it actually continues on into infinity. PiDay.org states that it has been calculated to more than 1 trillion digits beyond its decimal point, but I think I'll pass on trying to type it out for the sake of this story.

According to Time.com, Pi Day is a day for math whizzes to dress up in pi-themed outfits and chow down some pies, although anything round will do. I plan on celebrating Pi Day by dining on some tacos. Sure they're folded over, but they started out round before they were folded over.

By the way, it's also Albert Einstein's birthday today. He was born on this day in 1879 and came up with another well-known mathematical equation: E = mc2
