Mantorville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Blooming Prairie woman charged with murdering her husband has been scheduled to make a court appearance next month.

Dodge County Judge Jodi Williamson Monday scheduled a pre-trial hearing Aug.11th for 58-year-old Lois Riess.
She pleaded not guilty earlier this month to 1st and 2nd-degree murder charges after being returned to Minnesota from Florida. Riess is serving a life sentence in Florida for killing a woman in the Fort Myers area while she was on the run after allegedly shooting her husband.at their home in 2018.
During the upcoming hearing, Riess could demand a trial or plead guilty.
