Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman accused of dealing drugs out of her car has entered into a plea agreement and is now awaiting sentencing.

Court documents indicate that 45-year-old Vanna Thouk was arrested in February of last year after Rochester police received a tip that she was selling drugs out of a vehicle. The criminal complaint says the resulting investigation included surveillance of what investigators described as “short-term transactions indicative of controlled substance sales.”

Traffic Stop and Search Warrant Executed

According to the charges, the Rochester Police Department executed a search warrant at Thouk’s residence in the 1100 block of East Center Street and initiated a traffic stop after she was seen leaving in a car. The court document states that after the vehicle was pulled over, Thouk admitted she had “stuff” in a black bag, which led to the discovery of 11 fentanyl pills and a quantity of methamphetamine.

Thouk was charged with one count each of first-degree drug sales, first-degree drug possession, and fifth-degree drug possession. Under the terms of her plea agreement, the Rochester woman admitted to the first-degree drug possession charge in exchange for the dismissal of the remaining charges.

She is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
