‘Karate Kid’ – 34 Years Later

In 1984, one of the biggest movies released was "The Karate Kid.' I absolutely loved the movie, and my generation knows the profound meaning of "wax on, wax off." Imagine my excitement as I was surfing the 'net, and found out that there is a new show coming out.

The new show is called "Cobra Kai" and will be available as a YouTube Red series. I watched the trailer, and already I want to watch the show. They bring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka as Danny Larusso and Johnny Lawrence. Their lives are quite different from each other, and Johnny decides to re-open Cobra Kai Dojo, so there is sure to be a lot of karate action.

There are some movies that should not be redone or continued, this one looks to be a great addition to the original storyline, not the most recent movie starring Jaden Smith. I don't care that they got Jackie Chan to star as well, it is not as good as the original.
