The Lakeville North Panthers have now won three of the last four State AA Gymnastics titles.  Northfield placed third in team competition at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium Saturday.   Big Lake won the Class A title.  Mankato West was 4th, Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa 6th.

The Panthers scored 149.975 points, Sartell-St. Stephen had 147.975 and Northfield 146.350.   Senior Bella Frattalone of Mahtomedi was the All-Around Champion.  A feat she accomplished in Class A last year.  Junior Lindsay Bangs of Owatonna placed 4th in the All Around for All-State status.  Northfield junior Adison Dack was 12th among the 24 competitors.

Dack finished 9th in Vault, 3rd Floor Excercise, 8th Uneven Bars, 41st Balance Beam.

Bangs was 6th on the Vault, 10th Floor Excercise, 4th Uneven Bars, 11th Balance Beam.

Frattalone was the Vault Champion.  Lakeville North seniors Rachel Steiner and Anna Altermatt finished 5th and 7th respectively.

Frattalone picked up the Floor Excercise title.  Altermatt is the Uneven Bars Champion with Steiner capturing 6th place.

Senior Nadia Abid of Maple Grove won the Balance Beam competition edging Lakeville North sophomore Kaitlyn Nguyen.  Senior Ashley Goodlund finished in 9th place for the State Champion Panthers.

In Class A Big Lake amassed 146.825 points with Perham in second with 144.925.

Junior Jada Olsen of Perham was the All-Around Champion  in a close battle with Detroit Lakes senior Jackson Hegg.  Mankato West senior Taryn Sellner wa 6th, Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa junior Sawyer Gorman 9th in the competition.

Olsen is the Vault Champion with Winona junor Chloe Hughes finishing second.  Sophomore Jenna Sikel of Mankato West was 6th, Gorman 8th on the apparatus.

Hegg is the Floor Excercise title holder.  Sellner was 4th, Hughes 9th, Gorman 10th.

Senior Becca Green of Annandale won the Balance Beam.  Sellner placed second.  Red Wing senior Breck Bergin was 9th, Gorman 10th.

Faribault sophomore Lauren McDonough was 34th on the Balance Beam.

Green also captured the Uneven Bars title.  Sikel was 11th.  Junior Brynn Burkhalter of Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa 14th.
