Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union of Faribault just paid off the lunch debt of all Faribault Middle School students. They donated $1,200 to the school. The awesome act of kindness was announced on the Faribault Public School's Facebook page.

The Facebook post says that Affinity Plus "requested the funds to donate through its community initiative fund." They presented the check for $1,200 and some balloons to the school's superintendent, Todd Sesker, and the middle school's principal, Mike Meihak, earlier today (March 28th).

Zak Branham, Affinity Plus' member relations manager said, "'We were looking for ways to invest in our local community and we thought this would be a great opportunity to partner with our local schools.'"

What an awesome thing for a local business to do to help out the community! I bet the kids and their parents were pretty excited to get this news.
