Local Man Elected To Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 2021

One local baseball manager has been inducted into the 2021 Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame according to a press release sent out yesterday via social media from the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame's Facebook page. Joe Grose of Waterville was among those selected into the hall of fame.

Joe tweeted his reaction after receiving the news he was being inducted into the Amateur Hall of Fame.

Overwhelmed, humbled by well wishes. Thanks to MBA, HOF selection committee, those that did recommendations, election committee for their hard work. Waterville board members, fans, sponsors,players,and my family for continuing our interest in town ball. Truly grateful. Love ya

A big congratulations to Joe on his induction to the Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.

**An email from Bob Karn of the Hall of Fame seeking clarity on who was elected after the hall's website didn't match with the press release on social media indicated that "Darrell Vosejpka was not selected as an inductee for this year."

The Induction Banquet will take place on Saturday, September 18 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud - the home of the MN Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Museum.

**** This post has been edited as it reflected a mistake, naming Darrell Vosejpka of Lonsdale to the Hall of Fame. The mistake was made after a social media post by the Hall of Fame included Darrell in the original announcement. My deepest apologies to the Vosejpka family on this.
