Local Students at the National FFA Convention

Not long ago, I traveled with KDHL Farm Director Jerry Groskruetz to the National FFA Convention and Expo in Louisville, Ken., to meet up with area students and learn about their involvement in the FFA as well as their experience at the Expo. 

It was great to see so many students from area schools excited about agriculture and exploring college and career oppritunities. The students we caught up with were also eager to tell us about the exciting things going on in their local FFA chapters, what most interests them in agriculture, the fun sight-seeing and events they were able to take part in as part of the trip to Louisville, and the interesting things they were learning at the convention. In a sea of literally thousands of the official FFA Blue Jackets, we saw students from every corner of the U.S. We were able to grab a few pictures of our area students!
