This is my last day working at Power 96. It's been a fun ride but after 30 years of working first on KDHL and then on Power 96 it's time to move on and try something else. Believe me I'm going to miss it a lot, getting paid to play music and talk (two of my favorite things by the way) is hard to walk away from.

Over the years I've met a lot of wonderful people and worked with some great organizations like the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Faribault Area Hospice, Multiple Sclerosis Society, the March of Dimes, Toys for Tots, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota and the list goes on. I'll miss hanging out at the Rice County Fair and getting to know everyone that stopped by the booth or broadcasting live from a store or event. These are the moments that will always be cherished memories to me.

I just want to thank everyone that's been there for me over the years with kind words of support, funny comments or calling just to give me crap. I loved it all and you'll definitely be missed but it's time to close the chapter on this part of my life and move on to a new adventure. Thank you!

As a way to say thank you, I'll be giving away Power 96 T-shirts and other prizes every time I crack the mic between 6-9AM, this morning, on Power 96. The studio lines are 1-507-333-4296 or 1-866-Power 96 (1-866-769-3796). Good luck!
