Mankato, MN (KROC AM News) - A Mankato motorcyclist is among the latest to die in a traffic crash on Minnesota roads in recent days.

The State Patrol says the accident happened around 4:00 pm Saturday but it wasn’t reported until Sunday afternoon. The victim was identified as 70-year-old Mark Halverson. The State Patrol says his motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on a Highway 14 exit ramp in Mankato. Halvorson died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the truck was identified as 33-year-old Bryan Fillbrandt of Glencoe.

A pedestrian was killed Sunday afternoon in Columbia Heights. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says the female victim was struck by a minivan around 5:15 pm. She was given life-saving measures at the scene but was pronounced dead at the hospital. No names have been released.

At least twelve people have been killed on Minnesota roads since last Wednesday.
