Minnesota Twins Announce 2021 Season Schedule
Here is something to look forward to: The Minnesota Twins have announced their official schedule for the 2021 season! And the 2021 schedule is a normal schedule, meaning they will be playing teams outside of the National League like they will be limited to this season.
I am very excited about this announcement! I have been missing baseball and the Twins announcing a normal schedule give a little glimmer of hope that hopefully, COVID-19 will all be behind us once the next baseball season rolls around.
On the Twins schedule for 2021, their first game of the season will be on April 1st against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field (formerly known as Miller Park) in Milwaukee.
The Twins' first home game at Target Field is scheduled for April 8th against the Seattle Mariners. I am going to guess that that will be a VERY popular game since we have all been so deprived of baseball for so long!
The start of the 2020 season is Thursday, July 23rd but the first game for the Twins this season isn't until Friday, July 24th. On the 24th they will be playing the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago.
