Most of Minnesota watched as Kyle Rudolph, with the Minnesota Vikings, caught the winning touchdown in overtime in the game against the New Orleans Saints.   If you didn't watch it, well, you probably heard about the game on social media because the entire world was basically screaming online.

After the game, in the locker room, a member of the media came up to Kyle and asked if he would give him the gloves he wore for a charity.  Turns out, that wasn't really the truth.

Twitter started blowing up and Kyle Rudolf shared on his account, "I saw this.. it’s disappointing. A member of the media in the locker room after the game asked if he could have my gloves for a charity benefit, so I said of course and I will even sign them for you! Well he got me, sold on eBay 3 days later."

The entire situation is unfortunate, especially when people claim to be helping out a charity, but there is a good ending to this story.

A guy by the name of Jason King, who is a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, saw that the gloves were on sale on eBay and according to ESPN, "King messaged the account to get more information about the gloves and was told the seller received them "directly" from Rudolph. Nowhere in their message exchange, or the product's post, does the seller detail anything about the proceeds from the gloves being donated to charity."

Ater the world started screaming on Twitter, King sent Rudolph a note letting him know that the saw the conversation and was the buyer of the gloves and would gladly give those to charity.  Rudolf and his wife are passionate about helping the Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and tweeted that response to King during their little chat on Twitter.

This little scam that happened in the locker room has now turned into an amazing response of support, and the hospital tweeted out their thanks to everyone.

Amazing support happened right here in our community recently too.  Check out how much money was donated during the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign.
