The national ground beef Salmonella recall that had spread to 25 states, is now expanding to include another 2,500 pounds of potentially tainted meat, some of which may have been sold in central Minnesota.

The expanded recall covers raw beef packaged between July 26, 2018, and Sept. 7, 2018, bearing "EST. 267" within the USDA inspection mark, according to the USDA. The meat should be thrown away or returned to the store.
