Northfield Fire and Rescue recently held their Northfield Fire Relief Association's 60th Annual Banquet at the Grand Event Center on Saturday night. At the event, three firefighters were recognized two that had retired in 2019 with a combined 50+ years of service to Northfield's Fire and Rescue team, and the third was named Northfield's Fire Fighter of the Year. 

Recently retired firefighters Brian Ims, with 23 years of service, and Corey Stadler, with 29 years of service were recognized for their service to the community during their time with the department.

Also recognized during the banquet was Phil Graue as he was named the 2019 Fire Fighter of the Year.

In a post to social media Northfield Fire and Rescue highlighted the awards given out at the 60th Annual Northfield Fire Relief Associations banquet.

A big congratulations on all of the service time put in by Ims and Stadler, along with all of our emergency and first responders in our communities without you we wouldn't be as safe as we are.
