One ‘Hill’ Of A Good Time! Buck Hill Announces September Concert Series Line-Up
Burnsville's Buck Hill announced that the ski destination in the South Metro will be hosting a September concert series that will include a long-time Minnesota band, to go along with some alternative, and alt-country bands too. The Buck Concert Series will run from Thursday, September 15th to Saturday, September 17th.
The concert announcement was made late last week, which also stated that tickets for the concert series would be going on sale beginning on June 1st.
Performing at the concert series this September will be Minneapolis-based band Soul Asylum, the Plain White T's, Blackberry Smoke, and The Cadillac Three.
Buck Hill's website breaks down the concert series as being "Tributes Thursday features The Mallrats, Bohemian Queen, and Atomic Punks. Alternative Friday has American Scarecrows, Plain White T’s (!!!) and Alt-Rock pioneers, and local favorites Soul Asylum. Country Rockin’ Saturday kicks it up a notch with Tim Sigler, The Cadillac Three, and the hard driving southern rock band from Atlanta, Blackberry Smoke."
All of the days, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will have gates opening at 3pm, with music starting at 5:30p and will continue to see acts take the stage through 9p, with the music wrapping up by 10:30p.
You may have also noticed a Southern Minnesota tie-in with the music, as Owatonna native Tim Sigler is slated to open up on Saturday before The Cadillac Three, and Blackberry Smoke.
Ticket prices vary, depending on the night, Thursday night tickets range from $25-75, and Friday and Saturday tickets start at $47 and go to $149.
