Photo Ops for You at the Rice County Fair

One of the little touches that make the Rice County Fair, in Faribault, a fun place to spend a summer afternoon or evening are all the photo opportunities placed throughout the fair - great places to have the kids sit and take a picture of them or where you and friends can take a group selfie.

This morning Power 96's sister station, The Mighty 920 KDHL, was hosting the 2017 Rice County Best of the Best Agriculture Awards. I was in charge of setting up the sound equipment for this event. After making sure that the show had gotten on the air without any problems, I decided to take a walk around the fairgrounds and take some pictures of these places where you can capture your Rice County Fair memories and share them with you.

There's a Tea Cup from a Spinning Tea Cups ride just a short distance away from the Power 96 booth near the Midway Stage, a repainted Spinning Apple in the outdoor seating area of the Beer Garden, Wally the Alligator resides near the Tilt-A-Whirl, there's another Spinning Apple and farm-related face cut-outs near the Children's Barnyard, a giraffe near the Funhouse, face cut-outs of Liz Strohfus and Bruce Smith near the Rice County Historical Society Museum and perfectly comfortable benches scattered throughout the midway with the many rides as backdrops.
