Public Land Auction Coming to Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Prospective land buyers in the Rochester area will have their chance to bid on public property in Rochester next month.
The DNR recently announced a public land auction that’s set to happen in Rochester on October 21. Officials say they will auction off parcels available in Houston and Anoka Counties.
There’s also an auction set for October 14 that features land in western Minnesota’s Wadena County. That sale will take place at the Wadena County Courthouse at 11 a.m.
A news release from the DNR says the agency is auctioning off 17 parcels of rural land throughout the state, with many featuring recreational opportunities. The auctions are part of the DNR’s land management plan.
The Rochester land auction is set to take place at the MnDOT Southeast Regional Headquarters, 2900 48th Street NW, at 11 a.m.
