The annual Randolph Tractor Parade will be this Friday April 9, 2021. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the parade at 9:00 AM. I am sure all the Randolph FFA members and many others in the community are really looking forward to the parade after it was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Randolph FFA tractor parade began many years ago as a way to celebrate spring and the upcoming planting season! It was a way to honor farmers and all those involved in production agriculture.

If I remember correctly the first Randolph FFA Tractor Parade had 27 tractors. Now typically there are over 120 tractors in the parade! In the past the parade line-up was in the parking lot behind the ag shop. For the last parade the parking lot was full and tractors were lined up down the street and around the corner too! So, the line-up has been moved to the Randolph FFA tractor pull site where there is more room.

Remember everyone is invited to bring a tractor and drive it in the parade. It can be old, new, completely restored or in it's "working clothes." If you do not have a tractor to drive you can come and watch the parade on the school lawn with all the students and teachers at the Randolph school!
