Rice County Fair Hosting Food Trucks This Weekend

How about a slice of summer in May? The Rice County Fairgrounds will be hosting some food trucks/vendors this weekend to give you that summertime/county fair feel. 

You'll have some great options to choose from to enjoy, and also to support those in the area who make a living creating these summer fair type foods. At the fairgrounds, this weekend will be Schroder Concessions, El Ray Del Taco, Temple Concessions, Grandmas Lunch Wagon, Delicious Potatoes, and on Sunday only Uncle B's BBQ for Mother's Day.

The food truck/vendor event will be strictly a grab and go event to comply with the Governor's Stay-At-Home order.

A HUGE thank you to the Rice County Fair for supplying the electricity and space for this, I know John and the Rice County Fair board wanted to support different vendors during this time.

If this goes well, maybe the fair board would consider another one with more vendors?

I plan on heading out to support these businesses, as many of them rely on this time of year and area fairs to make a go of things, and I hope you make plans to stop out enjoy a little bit of summertime during May.
