Rice County Social Services has announced the office is now open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for those who require in-person assistance.

In a News Release from the office they say, "Most business can be accomplished through the mail, email or telephone, and does not usually require a personal visit to our office.

The communication asks people to consider the following:

Call us at (507) 332-5995 and leave your name and address we’ll mail you an  application.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics.
