Rochester Man Admits Downloading ‘Plethora’ Of Child Porn Images
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has been charged with three felony counts of possessing child pornography.
A criminal complaint has been filed in Olmsted County Court against 39-year-old Peter Dvorak.
Local police investigators received information earlier this year that had been forwarded by Twitter concerning a person who had been associated with child pornography. The initial information dealt with a sexually explicit image of a young girl.
The information was traced to an internet account linked to Dvorak’s home.
A search of his cellphone “revealed a plethora of images that were child pornography.”
According to the complaint, Dvorak admitted “viewing sexual images of females in the age range of 9-14 years old” and “viewing images of minors engaged in sexual acts specifically on February 26, 2020.” He also admitted “downloading photos and videos including females as young as 5 and 8 engaged in sexual acts.”
No court dates have been scheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
