Semi Jackknifes On Highway 14 In Janesville, Slides Into Holding Pond
Yesterday morning shortly after 9:00 AM a semi traveling on Highway 14 in Janesville Township, lost control, jackknifed and slid into a holding pond according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
In the report from the State Patrol, a Volvo Semi with a trailer was eastbound on Highway 14 and lost control, slid down a steep embankment, jackknifed and came to rest in holding pond.
The driver, 26-year-old, Anthony Tyre Potts of Marietta, GA was taken to the Waseca hospital for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the single-vehicle crash.
The State Patrol's report indicated at the time of the crash the road was icy and snow covered, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
Also responding to the crash were the Janesville Fire, North Ambulance, and the Waseca County Sheriff's Office.
