
Small Plane Lands and Hits Vehicle On Twin Cities Freeway

Arden Hills, MN (KOC AM News) - No injuries were reported after a small airplane made an apparent emergency landing on a northern Twin Cities area freeway Wednesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the plane also hit a vehicle as it landed on the northbound lanes of I-35W in Arden Hills around 9:30 PM.
The pilot of the plane was reported to be a Minneapolis man. No word yet on how many people were in the vehicle that was hit.
The stretch of freeway was closed for an extended period while the incident was investigated.
The State Patrol described the plane as a "single engine Bellanca Viking" model.
