Owatonna has some beautiful hiking and biking trails! But apparently, the Owatonna Parks and Recreation thought something was missing.

The Owatonna Parks and Recreation was recently awarded a SHIP grant, which is The Statewide Health Improvement Partnership. This grant enabled the city to install something new along 3 different trails in Owatonna: bike repair stations!

The three trails that they're on are Kaplan’s, Dartts, and along the North Straight River Parkway!

Now you never have to worry about getting stranded with a broken bike along one of these three trails. I think it's a great use of the SHIP grant because it definitely pushes people to be more active by utilizing bike trails while having the piece of mind that if anything happens it's possible to fix it.
