Governor Walz honors fallen firefighters by declaring May 3rd and 4th their weekend

The bottom line is these types of tragedies can be avoided.

Firefighters were able to tackle the man to the ground and hold him until police arrived to make an arrest.

He began his journey on Sunday and plans to reach his final destination on Saturday.

Even in the face of extreme weather, our local emergency responders still have to go to work; and we thank them for their dedication.
