Defending Class 1A girls State Champion Goodhue has been rated #1 all season. Here are the latest girls and boys rankings from the Minnesota Basketball News.

Faribault remains among elite of Class 3A, and undefeated Cannon Falls enters in Class 2A. Goodhue was dropped out of the Top 10 in Class 1A, Waseca is #3 in Class 2A behind Caledonia at #2 and Albany on top, with Lake City #8.

The Faribault Falcons are in the top ten in Class 3A boys making them the second highest ranked Big Nine team to begin the season.

Roy Koenig will broadcast the first two Class A Quaterfinals games in Williams Arena Wednesday on KDHL.

Owatonna, Stewartville, Mankato East, Austin and Winona represent the Big Nine.

Minnesota Basketball News has released their updated rankings for the Top 20 teams in each class of girls and boys high school basketball. The Owatonna Huskies boys have been on a roll lately and are rated #19 in the biggest schools class this week.

Goodhue's strong performance against Class 2A top rated, undefeated Lake City last week moved them up to #4 in Class 1A.

Undefeated Lake City is #1 in Class 2A.

Section 1A and 1AAA look like they will be very competitive.

Some KDHL/POWER 96, KRFO, KAT KOUNTRY area coaches and teams were honored.
