Class 2A Gold Standard Academic teams included Blooming Prairie. Silver Standard teams were Cannon Falls, Zumbrota-Mazeppa and Tri-City United.

Faribault Falcons baseball dropped two games to Albert Lea. The Falcons softball team defeated Albert Lea 13-3 in six innings at North Alexander Park.

Medford is 1-2 in Gopher Conference action, 1-3 overall. Blooming Prarie dropped to 0-5 overall, 0-4 in league play.

Rochester Lourdes has a 0-4 record and hosts Byron Monday, April 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Cannon Falls (6-1) is at Kasson-Mantorville for a 5:00 p.m. game Monday also.

Junior pitcher Ayden Qualey scattered 5 hits while going the distance for the Falcons. Qualey struck out 6, walked 2.

Kenyon-Wanamingo is now 6-5, Blooming Prairie drops to 1-9.

Kenyon-Wanamingo is now 3-7 and goes to Blooming Prairie Tuesday for a makeup game with the Awesome Blossoms. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. due to a spring music concert for K-W.

Faribault hosts Byron 11:00 a.m. Saturday.

The Knights are 4-2 overall and 1-1 in Gopher Conference. They go to Medford Monday. Goodhue dropped to 0-7 with a doubleheader scheduled for Monday against Lourdes at Mayo Field.
