The City of Burnsville's Public Safety Department just had one of those days. The fire department ended up getting a cat out of a tree, for real, and then two officers with the Burnsville Police Department rescued an injured bald eagle!

The injured bald eagle was taken to The Raptor Center for its medical needs.

Generally, a cat, if you find it up in a tree, will come down on its own, but if the cat doesn't come down from the tree on its own, an arborist or animal control officer might be your best call, rather than the fire department.

The injured bald eagle will have to be tested for avian influenza when it arrives at The Raptor Center.
