Two-Vehicle Crash Near Zumbrota Results in Injuries
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash at a Hwy. 52 intersection north of Zumbrota late Saturday morning.
The State Patrol crash report indicates a pick-up truck driven by 46-year-old Patrick Davis of Randolph was in the center crossover of Hwy. 52, waiting to turn onto Goodhue County Rd. 7. A passenger car, driven by 74-year-old Linda Wieser of Rochester, was traveling north.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection at 11:09 a.m. Two passengers in Weiser’s vehicle, identified as 81-year-old Kay Wagner and 89-year-old Monessa Overby, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Wagner and Overby are from Laquinta, California.
Davis and four passengers in his vehicle were not hurt. Weiser was also uninjured. The report indicates all of the parties involved in the crash were buckled up and no one was under the influence of alcohol.
