Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes which is awesome... if you have a boat. Not everyone has a boat though and while some of us have friends with boats you can't just invite yourself, so what do you do? Uber might have a solution soon.

Uber has launched a boat sharing service in certain parts of the world. According to Town and Country Magazine: UberBoat works just like their car service, "Uber customers can use their mobile app to drop a pin and find a boat nearby. Then the company's algorithm will send them to the nearest convenient location (in this case, the best pier) to meet their driver (or rather, a captain)."

Imagine not having to wait for an invite or bug your friends to join them on the water? No word on when/if they plan on introducing this in the United States, but hopefully it happens soon.
