A former Timberwolves play-by-play man, fan of batman, and overall very good broadcaster just had the other night one of THE best calls during the Monday Night Football game. A black cat, somehow, got onto the field in East Rutherford, NJ, and Harlan just called it as it saw it.

Harlan is a pro, he even works in the added value for the CDW Redzone.

At one point obviously tongue in cheek after the cat scampers into the stands Harlan quips "fans are running for their lives." Just genius.

Here is the complete 90-second cut directly from Westwood One Sports' Twitter account, as it adds in the first time the cat is spotted on the field:

Listening to the whole thing brings back memories of Harlan calling Timberwolves games on the radio. No one is finer at calling a sports game, no matter the sport, or a cat running wild on a football field, Kevin Harlan is simply the best. Oh as far as the cat is concerned, Met Life Stadium tweeted they planned to take it to a local veterinarian once it was caught.
