As Minnesota joins other states in slowly reopening, let's take a look at what activities pose the greatest risk of contracting the coronavirus.

The team at mLive asked four public health experts to rate these activities on a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being the least risk, and 10 being the highest.

Wash your hands, wear your mask, practice social distancing, and cross your fingers. Here we go:

Coronavirus Risk Level by Activity

While outdoor activities are usually safer than indoor ones, the experts looked at these five things:

  1. Is the activity inside or outside?
  2. How close will people likely be to each other?
  3. How long will people be around each other?
  4. How likely are people to follow safety guidelines?
  5. What's the personal risk level?

Just a reminder that as the state reopens, Minnesota health officials remind us to practice the following guidelines to slow the spread of the coronavirus:

  • All Minnesotans who can work from home must do so.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Get tested when sick.
  • Maintain social distance.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Stay home when able.
