Where Is The Cheapest Gas In Our Area?

Gas prices continue to drop as fewer people are going into the office to work. The Minnesota Department of Transportation recently reported that  traffic was down across the state. So where can you get the cheapest gas in the area? Lakeville.

Gas prices are down as the Minnesota Department of Transportation on Tuesday stated that "statewide traffic volumes on March 30 were down 34 percent compared to Monday averages for March 2019. while metro area traffic volumes on March 30 were down 40 percent compared to Monday averages for March 2019." Less people driving = less demand for gas which causes the price to fall.

So what Lakeville stations are offering the cheapest gas? According to gasbuddy.com, you can fill up for $1.06 a gallon at the Hi Hi Market and Gas (8333 210th St W near Hernon Lane) and at a $1.09 a gallon at the Kwik Trip 20187 Dodd Blvd & Kenwood Trail.

Faribault stations are averaging $1.59 a gallon, Northfield $1.77 a gallon, and Owatonna between $1.69 and $1.79 a gallon according to gasbuddy.com 

The cheapest place to get gas in Minnesota right now? Red Wing with one station offering up gas at just .99 cents a gallon.
