If you're an Xcel Energy customer they're asking you to turn down your thermostat. Xcel wants you to turn your thermostat down to 63 or lower through today (Thursday), if possible. That sounds cold!

They say that because of the extreme cold there's "'a significant strain'" on their natural gas system. In a statement on Xcel Energy's website, they say "We are asking our Minnesota customers to help conserve natural gas so the system can continue to operate well for our customers throughout the state."

The request to conserve natural gas was originally issued for Becker, Big Lake, Chisago City, Lindstrom, Princeton, and Isanti after "there was a stoppage in natural gas service for 152 customers in and around the city of Princeton around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday." That request has now been extended to all Xcel Energy customers.

So turn down that thermostat and bundle up! Tomorrow should be much better temperature wise!
