
Young Dodge Center Girl Hurt in Traffic Wreck
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A young Dodge Center girl was hurt Sunday in a traffic wreck in rural Olmsted County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Makayla Phillips-Tucke of Dodge Center was trying to make a U-turn on Highway 52 near 65th St SE around 5:00 PM when her vehicle was struck by a pickup truck. A 10-year-old girl in her car was taken to St. Marys Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Two other passengers - 29-year-old Damiana Huber and an 8-year-old girl, both from Dodge Center - were not hurt.
The driver of the truck was identified as 21-year-old Hank Friederichs of Rochester. He was not hurt
