Hi! I grew up in the Twin Cities, but I consider myself to be citified small town country. Radio has taken me to northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. I am married to a great guy and we have 3 cats (or maybe they have us, we're not sure)! I volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Healthy Seniors and the local food shelf. I also try to give a bit to the Humane Society. Reading, Quilting and Sudoku are a few of my hobbies. Sports are cool too! I enjoy playing golf (the real kind, not video) and listen to or watch most of the rest...especially baseball. Go Twins!

6 Inventions By Minnesotans
My husband had a class in high school that they had to invent something. His teacher said that group had a very marketable product. That is kind of cool to hear that a product you helped come with is marketable. So many inventions are out there, do you sometimes think, "What else...
8 Minnesotan Twins
There were some memorable moments that have come to my mind about baseball and the Minnesota Twins. A good pitching duel, grand slams, inside-the-park home runs, no-hitters, the World Series and the Baseball Hall of Fame. More specifically, the two around-the-horn triple plays that the Twins turned in one game in 1990...
7 Movies Filmed in Minnesota
I like a variety of movies -- romantic comedies, drama, action, but not so much in to the horror, maybe suspenseful would be OK. It seems most films are filmed in California or New York. How about Minnesota? Well, I found out from Minnesotafunfacts...

Lisa’s Logic: All About Reading
February is Library Lovers Month. March is National Reading Month. As a quote from the movie "NeverEnding Story II" says, "Ahh, but have you ever read a book twice? Books change each time you read them." Now that movie isn't as good as the first, but that line is very true...
Lisa’s Logic: Passwords
If you're on the computer, generally speaking that means emails -- work or personal, plus online banking and so on -- and that means passwords. Every so often it is recommended that you change your passwords. It was just suggested to me yesterday...
