Battle of the Bands is Tonight at the Rice County Fair

This is your last call to bring your band to the Rice County Fair's Battle of the Bands. You've been telling your friends and family what a rockin' band you have well now it's time to lay your cards on the table and prove it live on stage in front of an audience of adoring fans. It may be hot but the Rice County Fair wants to rock.

This contest will pit bands from all over the community as well as the surrounding communities and states against each other in a head-to-head battle to see who has the best chops and licks at the Rice County Fair.

Some of the rules include: you must have a three-piece band consisting of a singer, guitarist and drummer. You should also have three to five songs ready to showcase your band’s talents. They’re shooting for 10 bands to compete. The more groups that are involved, the fewer songs you’ll have to perform and vice versa. The winning band will be the featured band Friday night, August 12, at the Blue Collar BBQ and Arts Pre-Party in downtown Faribault.
