The students at St. Mary's School in Owatonna had the chance to meet Minnesota Twins players Robbie Grossman and Jorge Polanco, but the biggest ovation came when TC Bear entered the gym, high-fived students and took half court shots with a basketball.
Owatonna Girls Hang On for Win at Faribault
The Owatonna girls' basketball team closed the first half of Friday's game at Faribault on a 15-2 run to grab a 34-30 halftime lead. The Huskies led throughout the second half on their way to a 56-55 win, but the injury-depleted Falcons kept in close the whole way.

Bethlehem Academy Back on Top in Subsection with Comeback Win
Faribault Bethlehem Academy rallied from a 2-sets-to-1 deficit and fought off two match points in the fifth game to outlast Hayfield 3-2 Thursday at Mayo Civic Center and add another Section 1A, West Subsection trophy to their collection. A year ago Hayfield topped the Cardinals for the crown.
