Faribault Police on Monday shared security camera footage of a theft suspect to their social media page in an attempt to identify the individual who is being sought in connection to a theft at that business.

The post by the Faribault Police Department, was limited in information pertaining to the suspect. What we do know is that the male in the black jacket in the video enters the Asian Buffet, grabs a to-go box, then goes behind the cash register and grabs a backpack or bag, and then walks away presumably into the restaurant with the bag.

The male had on a black jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers, a black hat with a red brim. The hat also has some writing on it, and a sticker or something on the top of the red bill.

It's unclear from the video if the individual has a mask on or really any clear detail as to what is on the bill of the cap, or what is written on the cap.

If you recognize this individual you are asked to contact the Faribault Police Department specifically Detective Karl Willers at 507-334-0929.

Faribault's Asian Buffet is located in the Faribo West Mall near I-35 so the suspect may not be from the area.
