The Steele County Historical Society announces "Harvest For History" on Saturday, September 19 beginning at 5PM. Tickets are limited to 100 guests. Call the History Center 451-1420.

Owatonna High School graduate and Award winning chef Tim Cochram will feature a multi-course meal made from local food. Each plate will be paired with a wine. He is currently working in the Faribault Public Schools as the Food Service Director.

The evening will include music and entertainment by Scott Rogness and Mike Chinander.

Rogness, singer/songwriter/producer, worked with soundtracks for "That Thing That You Do," "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," and The Shasta Kings is his current project.

Chinander has worked in a variety of bands including Westwind, Hot and Bothered, The Fabulous Lovehandles and The Shasta Kings. Since 1996, he has been at the Steele County Food Shelf Hometown Sampler.

The "Harvest of History" will be the debut of LTO's 50 Years in Review exhibit.
