Make-A-Wish is a foundation that grants wishes to children with serious life-threatening illnesses. Alex Walsh, 16, was diagnosed at age 14 with Stage 4 cancer and was granted his wish to go to Ireland last June. He now wants to give back to this great nonprofit, wish-granting organization. Please come contribute while having a great time.
Sunday, March 19, there will be a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish at Boxers, 429 Central Ave., Faribault. Check in time is 1:30PM with a euchre tournament and raffles for prizes starting at 2PM. There will also be turkey sandwiches for purchase for $5. Euchre tournament costs $10 to enter and prizes will be given out to the top three winners.
