The Owatonna Kiwanis Club hosts "Read Around the World" at the Owatonna Public Library, 105 N Elm Ave.

Local celebrities will read on Saturday, February 6 from 10 to 11:30AM. Those reading include:

  • Owatonna Junior High student/author Megan Copland
  • OHS Key Club President Anna Hagen
  • Washington School teacher Matt McCartney
  • Police Chief Keith Hiller
  • Owatonna Public Library Children's Librarian Darla Lager

Kiwanis "Read Around the World" event, encouraging children to explore books with parents, teachers and community leaders encouragement, is designed for pre-school to third graders.

This event includes a free book giveaway plus milk and cookies.
