KGPCo, founded in 1982 by Kathleen Putrah as a woman-owned business, announced yesterday in a press release that the Faribault-based company has entered into a non-binding agreement to buy select assets and assume certain operating liabilities of Hutton Communications of Canada. The move comes as part of KGPCo's vision of expanding its diverse range of services and offerings for the Communications Industry into the Canadian market. The acquisition has been approved by the leadership teams of both organizations and is expected to be finalized in the upcoming weeks.

KGPCo has according to its website has made 5 major acquisitions since 2001 with this pending move that number rises to 6.

KGPCo according to the press release is the leading provider of complete, customized, and scalable supply chain and network transformation solutions for the communications industry, which enables customers to build, optimize and transform their networks.

Hutton Canada in the press release states that it provides numerous communication services across all vertical markets and offers its customers a complete outsourced solution.
