Feed Your Face During The Big Game With Skittles & Sausage

As you know from prior blogs, one of my favorite things in life is eating, so when I find an unusual food I like to investigate further. Apparently Blue Max Meats, in Seattle, has combined two of Seattle Seahawk's running back Marshawn Lynch's favorite foods, sausage & Skittles, creating "Beast Mode" Hot Skittles Sausage. "Beast Mode" is Lynch's nickname and apparently this unique flavor combination is a big hit with the locals who have been stocking up before the Big Game. Apparently the sugar in the candy offsets the spiciness of the meat. By the way Skittles is offering a less gastronomically challenging limited edition mix of their sweet candies called "Seattle Mix," featuring just the Seahawks blue & green colors.
