Minnesota farmer Greg Novak has built the "Granddaddy" of snowmen from the snow he had to remove from outside his greenhouses in the central Minnesota town of Gilman. Novak tells the St. Cloud Times that the 50 foot tall snowman is "putting a smile on people's faces" visiting it during this tough winter. As large as his frosty behemoth is, it's still a dwarf in comparison to the world record tallest snowperson which stood 122 feet tall, a snowwoman named Olympia created in Bethel, Maine in 2008.
