It's maybe a little late, but I have not yet had a chance to comment on the death of Leonard Nimoy.

I guess I first remember him as Spock. In the original series I always enjoyed when Kirk, Spock and McCoy would all play off each other. I enjoyed the episodes where he had to make command decisions in place of the captain.

Some of the third-season episodes got a little strange, and I thought it had to be hard to put out a quality product when they had very little to work with. But he was always a pro.

I continued to watch him in Mission: Impossible. Although it was weird at first to watch him play a more emotional character in that series. But when the Star Trek movies came about, he was right there again as the logical, emotionless Vulcan. And I don't think the Star Trek 3 and 4 movies would have been as good without his directing them.

Leonard, I have no doubt you will continue to look upon us from the stars. And you are with Jimmy, Gene, DeForest and Majel again, taking Star Trek to a new place.
