It’s Hard To Beat A Robot

I wrote a blog earlier about some animatronic pole-dancers. Continuing on the robot theme, I recently found a story about a robot, developed by KUKA Robotics, that has the ability to play ping pong. Their 'bot , named Agilus, was put up against table tennis champ Timo Boll. Caught on video Boll narrowly defeats his robotic challenger 11-9 and was filmed to celebrate the grand opening of KUKA's Robotics factory in Shanghai on Tuesday.

The human race shouldn't feel too proud, a Japanese robot recently proved impossible to beat in 'Rock, Paper & Scissors."

It's only a matter of time before the rise of the machines & SKYNET assumes control.
